Program review timeline

The table below demonstrates a program review timeline:

May 

  • Proposed Internal Assessment Team Form submitted to the QA office.

August 

  • List of potential external reviewers submitted to the QA office for review by Provost.

September 

  • QA office to send Self Study template and data to Assessment Team.

February 

  • Draft of Self Study completed and presented to Faculty Council.

March 

  • Revisions to Self Study.
  • Final Self Study and cover letters provided by Dean to the QA office.

March 

  • Self Study and supporting documents sent to external reviewers by the QA office.

April 

  • Site visit by external reviewers.

May (one year later)

  • External Reviewers Report submitted.

July

  • Feedback on report solicited through Faculty Council.
  • Response to report from Assessment Team and Dean.

September 

  • Reports to Curriculum Program Review Committee or Graduate Studies Committee, who prepare the Final Assessment Report.

October 

  • Summary report to Executive and Academic Council.

October 

  • Summary report to Board of Governors.

January (two years later)

  • Follow up on recommendations.
