Based on our student survey, 71 per cent of students use sustainable options to commute to school. This includes carpooling, public transit, biking, walking or getting dropped off by someone travelling to another location.
Bicycle parking is conveniently located all across campus. Cycl-on is a bicycle sharing service available for UOIT students to borrow a bike for personal use.
Blancride is a carpooling mobile app, created at UOIT, which connects drivers and passengers who share similar routes.
Designated carpool spots are available at the north Oshawa location. To register for the carpool program, please visit the Parking Services office located at the main entrance of the Gordon Willey Building or call 905.721.8668 ext. 2145.
