Admissions

How do I apply?

Applicants must apply for all programs through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website.

What is the deadline to apply?

Deadlines and other important information can be found on the Admissions page.

Can I be admitted if I don’t have a diploma listed under the admission requirements?

Graduates of a two- or three-year college diploma or university degree program not listed under the specific admissions requirements should contact the Admissions office to determine their eligibility, as they still may be eligible for admission.

I have a diploma from a non-Ontario college; am I still eligible for admission?

Please contact the Admissions office to determine your eligibility.

Do you accept international credentials?

Can I study on a part-time basis?

Each program has different study options. Most programs do offer a part-time intake. For more information, please refer to your specific program of interest.

I already own a laptop; do I have to participate in the technology-enriched learning program?

Each program has different mobile-learning options. Most programs do require that you enrol in the technology-enriched learning program.

Which programs are available online?

The following programs are available entirely online: Educational Studies and Digital Technology, Designing Adult Learning for the Digital Age and Allied Health Sciences.

Program-specific questions

I have a general business diploma and have been admitted into the Commerce program. Am I still able to specialize?

Students who enter the Commerce program with the above are not able to specialize and must enter the comprehensive stream. Students who enter the Commerce - Direct Entry program are able to specialize in the same program they graduated from in college* or enter the comprehensive program.

*Students with a diploma in Operations must enter the comprehensive stream.

I have not written my Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE). Am I still eligible to apply to the Nursing program?

You are able to apply to the Nursing program; however, we do require proof of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) indicating that you are entitled to practice with no restrictions, before you are able to attend classes in September.
