The University of Ontario Institute of Technology is located in Oshawa, Ontario. Founded in 2002, it is Canada’s newest university, with more than 16,000 alumni working in various sectors across the world.

The university has one campus with two locations: one in north Oshawa, and the other in the downtown core of the city. The INHS Conference will be held at the downtown Oshawa location.

The introduction and keynote speeches will take place at the Regent Theatre (50 King Street East), one of Oshawa’s oldest buildings. Built in 1919, and purchased by the university in 2009, the theatre serves as a lecture hall for many classes in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. It also hosts a variety of public events on evenings and weekends.

The breakout panels and meals will take place at Bordessa Hall (55 Bond Street East), located directly behind the Regent Theatre.
